I ran 5 marathons in one year. After taking a 2 month hiatus to finish my PhD dissertation (hiatus = no exercise, reversion to soda, candy bars, and uninhibited eating), I am taking on the challenge to prep for a marathon in 12 weeks. With this comes a complete body overhaul with increasing running mileage, cross-training, Bikram, and nutritious eating. I will track my progress to show my metamorphous back into a repeat marathoner! And I will discover the proper balance of training to recover quickly and prevent injury. Hang on tight, it's going to be a fun ride!
